Vistra Appoints Damian Leach as Chief AI & Digital Officer to Drive Global Digital Strategy
Vistra has appointed Damian Leach as its first Chief AI & Digital Officer, a newly created role aimed at accelerating the company’s digital transformation and enhancing client experience across its global operations.
The appointment comes at a time when businesses are navigating increasing regulatory complexity and the rapid evolution of AI-driven services. Vistra said the new role will focus on strengthening its digital capabilities, improving connectivity, and delivering greater operational consistency for clients worldwide.
CEO Kim Jenkins noted that the company has been investing in a unified global digital platform designed to give clients a single, integrated view of their operations. This “single pane of glass” approach allows clients to manage legal entities, accounting, tax, payroll, and people services from one interface, while enabling seamless interaction with Vistra’s services from anywhere.
Leach brings more than two decades of experience in technology leadership across highly regulated industries. His background includes senior roles in global banking technology and serving as CTO of a Fortune 500 SaaS company. Most recently, he was Global CIO at Seaco, where he led enterprise technology modernization efforts prior to its merger with Textainer.
Based in Singapore, Vistra’s global headquarters, Leach will focus on building AI-powered services, harmonizing global operations, and enhancing the customer journey through advanced digital platforms.
Leach said the company’s global reach and strong regulatory expertise position it well to leverage AI and automation to deliver faster, more secure access to data and services, ultimately helping clients unlock greater business value.
The appointment underscores Vistra’s broader strategy to evolve into a digitally enabled, AI-driven professional services organization capable of supporting clients across international markets.
