ControlUp Surpasses $100M ARR, Advances Autonomous Endpoint Management with Agentic AI

ControlUp has crossed $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), achieving unicorn status with a valuation exceeding $1 billion, as it expands beyond digital employee experience (DEX) into autonomous endpoint management (AEM).

The milestone reflects a strategic shift in enterprise IT—from monitoring employee experience to enabling self-healing, autonomous operations powered by agentic AI. ControlUp’s platform now integrates real-time visibility with automated remediation, allowing IT teams to proactively detect and resolve issues across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.

“Reaching $100 million ARR is more than a growth milestone—it’s proof of a generational shift in IT,” said Jed Ayres. “We’re moving from insight to action, where AI-driven automation enables proactive, self-healing systems.”

From DEX to Autonomous IT Operations

ControlUp’s evolution builds on its foundation in DEX, where it initially focused on monitoring how technology impacts employee productivity. The company is now extending those capabilities into AEM—an emerging category that combines data insights with AI-driven automation to streamline IT operations.

Through its ControlUp ONE platform, organisations can unify endpoint monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and remediation within a single system, reducing reliance on fragmented tools and reactive processes.

Growth and Platform Momentum

The company’s growth trajectory highlights strong enterprise adoption:

  • Over 14 million automated fixes executed weekly, reducing manual IT workloads
  • More than 1 million endpoints migrated to the ControlUp ONE platform
  • Platform growth rate of 37% since early 2025
  • Over 1.5 million endpoints leveraging automated compliance capabilities
  • More than 50% of ARR driven by large enterprise customers
  • 133% year-over-year growth in partner-driven deals

These metrics underscore increasing demand for unified, AI-driven IT management solutions in complex hybrid environments.

Expanding Capabilities with AI and Ecosystem Growth

ControlUp has continued to invest in innovation, including the launch of its Pulse AI platform, which correlates data across IT environments to automate troubleshooting and enable intelligent decision-making.

The company has also expanded its product suite with solutions such as DaaS IQ for Azure Virtual Desktop management, ControlUp Migrate for Windows 365 transitions, and tools for managing frontline and Android-based devices.

Strategic acquisitions, including AI automation firm Unipath, have further strengthened its agentic AI capabilities, while partnerships with organisations like CDW are helping extend its reach across enterprise customers.

Industry Recognition and Future Outlook

Backed by investors including Jerusalem Venture Partners, ControlUp has also received industry recognition, including being named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Employee Experience Management Tools.

Erel Margalit described the shift as foundational: “This evolution into autonomous endpoint management represents a fundamental change in how IT operates.”

As enterprises increasingly seek to automate and optimise IT operations, ControlUp’s transition from DEX to AEM signals a broader industry move toward autonomous, AI-driven infrastructure—where systems not only detect issues but resolve them in real time without human intervention.
