isolved Appoints Michael Haske as CEO to Lead Next Phase of AI-Driven Growth

isolved has announced that CEO Mark Duffell will retire, with HR technology veteran Michael Haske set to assume the role effective May 4, 2026. The leadership transition follows a long-term succession plan, with Duffell working closely with Haske to ensure continuity.

Duffell, who joined isolved in 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, oversaw a period of significant growth and transformation. During his tenure, the company expanded its cloud-native human capital management (HCM) platform, achieved consistent double-digit growth, and nearly quadrupled its annual revenue. Under his leadership, isolved strengthened its position as a trusted provider for small and mid-sized businesses, now serving over 200,000 employers and more than 9 million employees across the United States.

The company’s flagship platform, isolved People Cloud™, evolved to support the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment to retirement—through integrated payroll, benefits, and workforce management capabilities.

Haske’s appointment signals a strategic shift toward AI-led innovation. With prior leadership roles at Paylocity, ADP, and Paychex, as well as recent experience as CEO of Krista Software, Haske brings deep expertise in scaling HCM platforms and advancing intelligent automation.

Under his leadership, isolved aims to move beyond traditional SaaS toward becoming a “Platform of Action,” leveraging agentic AI and advanced orchestration technologies. The goal is to enable real-time decision-making and execution by bridging the gap between human intent and business outcomes, while maintaining a human-in-the-loop approach.

The transition reflects broader changes in the HCM industry, where AI and automation are increasingly central to workforce management strategies. By integrating intelligent systems into its platform, isolved is positioning itself to deliver more proactive, outcome-driven solutions for organizations navigating a rapidly evolving workplace.

The leadership change marks a new chapter for isolved as it seeks to build on its growth momentum and redefine how businesses manage and empower their workforces through AI-enabled technology.
