Tapcheck Teams with Paychex to Deliver Seamless Embedded On-Demand Pay Solution
Tapcheck Inc., a provider of on-demand pay technology, has announced a new partnership with Paychex, Inc. to deliver a fully embedded earned wage access solution for employees paid through the Paychex HR Professional Employer Organization (PEO) platform. The partnership aims to provide employees with real-time access to a portion of their earned wages, helping improve financial flexibility and reduce financial stress.
The new embedded solution allows eligible employees to access their earned wages instantly through the Tapcheck mobile application. Employees can transfer funds directly to their bank account or to a Tapcheck Mastercard, giving them more control over their cash flow instead of waiting for traditional payroll cycles.
Tapcheck stated that the system uses payroll data along with predictive machine learning-based balance calculations to ensure accurate and compliant wage disbursement. Because the solution is fully integrated into the Paychex HR PEO platform, employers can activate on-demand pay without implementing new systems, file transfers, or changing payroll processes.
According to Tapcheck, payroll teams will still maintain full visibility and control over payroll operations while offering employees instant access to earned wages. The company said the integrated solution reduces administrative workload, improves financial wellness benefits, and helps employers attract and retain talent in competitive industries.
Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) typically provide HR services such as payroll, benefits, and compliance management for industries with complex staffing requirements, including hospitality, senior living, and service-based businesses. With this integration, Paychex PEO clients can now offer on-demand pay as part of their employee benefits package.
Tapcheck’s leadership said the partnership reflects a broader shift in payroll systems toward flexibility and employee-focused financial tools. The companies believe on-demand pay solutions will become an important part of modern payroll, helping improve employee satisfaction, retention, and financial well-being.
